Its members have been playing on stages across the region for many years. The band delivers an immersive, nostalgic show—a true journey through time that will take you back to the carefree spirit and wild nights of the 1980s, with a carefully selected mix of well-known English- and French-language pop-rock hits featuring polished, finely crafted arrangements that make ABSOLUTE 80 a band like no other! The repertoire spans the entire 80'S decade, from Kim Wilde to Kajagoogoo, from Nougaro to J. J.Goldman, not forgetting Phil Collins and plenty of other, increasingly surprising artists. The band is known for one particular specialty: playing songs no one expects—songs we love but do not always admit to liking. We call them “our guilty pleasures.” In short, the goal is to get you saying, “Wow! I’d completely forgotten how great this song is!!” Above all, ABSOLUTE 80 also puts on shows “just like the real thing”!
