An exhibition dedicated to comics and manga.
Médé’s journey, from Yaoundé to Dakar and then to Lille, shaped his artistic perspective at the crossroads of cultures. An artist and author, he draws on narrative illustration and the world of manga to inform his practice. Cinétique explores the foundations of the ninth art: how a story is born, how a page is built, how a panel tells a story, and how movement becomes a narrative language in its own right. It also highlights what makes manga distinctive: its visual grammar, its relationship to rhythm, emotion, and gesture. His approach offers a concrete and accessible reading of the creative process, for enthusiasts and the curious alike.
