The Festival Microtopies returns in 2026 with an opening celebration on July 3 at Bazaar St So, public and participatory build sites over the weekend of July 4-5, and workshops all summer long!
The Festival Microtopies returns starting July 03, 2026! Following the launch of a national and European competition, 6 winning collectives were selected by a jury to create Microtopies in public spaces. These installations then become living spaces for residents, while offering in-depth reflection on the economy of natural resources and the reuse of materials. Microtopies means: → ♀️Offering living spaces for residents in public spaces; → activating and bringing natural spaces to life, → ♀️enabling the younger generation of landscape architects to explore and experiment; → ✨ awakening imaginations and questioning our everyday natural environment; → exploring concepts of the circular economy, resources, material recycling, and reuse; → showcasing designers, companies, and local know-how through committed projects.
