An original creation for the Les heures dorées 2026 festival, featuring music at the library
Diaty Diallo is an author and artist whose work lies at the intersection of literature and performance. She brings her writing to life on stage through readings, performance, and song. Her first novel, Deux secondes d’air qui brûle (Seuil, 2022), was widely acclaimed and marked her notable arrival on the contemporary literary scene. In 2026, she is an artist-in-residence at the Villa Médicis, where she continues to develop her body of work.
