···················· LEKIP ····· ··············· Lekip is the story of three friends from Azerbaijan, Kurdistan and France. Their repertoire blends Kurdish, Azerbaijani, Balkan and French songs. With his extraordinarily powerful voice and wild energy, Kurdish singer Evren Avci sweeps the audience away like a hurricane in a celebration of life. He comes from the streets of Istanbul, where he has sung and rapped since childhood. Saddam Novruzbayov, a virtuoso clarinetist from Azerbaijan, stokes the fire and unleashes storms of emotion. He performs with Middle Eastern orchestras around the world.
