Place du Cirque - Lille Moulins
Join us at place du carnaval in Lille Moulins for Place du Cirque on Friday, August 28, with a fantastic program organized in partnership with the Flow and the Centre Social Marcel Bertrand! From 12 p.m.: BBQ hosted by the Centre Social Marcel Bertrand. 2–5 p.m. – Circus workshops: Le Cirque du Bout du Monde will set up its pop-up circus village, where you can try juggling, trapeze, rolla bolla and stilts. Come and discover all these disciplines with family or friends. Thrill-seekers can take to the air with introductory mini flying-trapeze sessions! From 2 to 3 p.m.: an introductory hip-hop dance workshop with Elisa Berrod, presented by the Flow. 5 p.m.: performances by the circus workshop groups—the 6–11-year-old group from the Centre Social Marcel Bertrand and the group from the Itinéraires association. 5:30 p.m.: Show – L’hymne à la baguette, Elisa Berrod with the Flow. Throughout the afternoon, the Centre Social Marcel Bertrand will offer booths and activities: a CyberTrotter booth focused on local heritage; a circus-themed creative workshop for parents and children; an ice cream stand; traditional games; the “Le Saviez Food” workshop on food waste; an Interface / Iléo booth raising awareness about drinking water; representatives from Ilévia; a motor-skills course for young children; a coordination and balance course; a caricaturist; and musical entertainment featuring a playlist prepared by local young people.
