The exhibition A Shared Story is the result of an artistic and cultural outreach project conducted in 2025 by the Institut pour la photographie with young people supported by the Protection Judiciaire de la Jeunesse and their educators. Together with photographers Cédric Gerbehaye, Sidonie Hadoux, Cédric Gerbehaye, Benoît Labourdette and Charles Thiéfaine, these young people and their supervisors developed unique experiences centered on images and their creation, opening up new ways to observe, feel, express themselves and tell their stories. Shaped by their collective discussions about citizenship and what binds society together, the exhibition shares their perceptions and experiences, as well as the memories they carry and the hopes they hold for tomorrow.
