Come and discover the rich history of the Salle des fêtes de Fives and go behind the scenes of its current cultural and artistic life.
On July 14, 1928, Roger Salengro, then mayor of Lille, inaugurated a community hall in the Fives neighborhood. Commissioned from architect Marcel Cools, this eclectic building with art deco influences brought joy and creativity back to local residents. When Lille was named European Capital of Culture in 2004, renovation work was planned. The venue can now accommodate 800 people for its events. Music, live performance, dance, or visual arts—today, it hosts events of all kinds for audiences of all ages.
