For the fourth consecutive year, Galeries Lafayette is partnering with the prestigious modeling agency ELITE! On May 20, 2026, the ELITE MODEL LOOK competition will stop at the Galeries Lafayette store in Montpellier to unveil the talents of tomorrow. For over 40 years, the ELITE MODEL LOOK competition has attracted candidates from around the world and has become a true springboard, a reference in the fashion world! Throughout its history, ELITE MODEL LOOK has helped discover some of the greatest models of recent generations: Cindy Crawford, Gisele Bundchen, Alessandra Ambrosio… the most iconic models have taken their first steps within the ELITE agency, including more recently Vittoria Ceretti, Mona Tougaard, Micklate Macobolo, and Matthew Bell, talents who continue to enhance the agency's reputation. For this 2026 edition of the competition, Galeries Lafayette in Montpellier and the ELITE jury will welcome male and female participants during selections that will allow identified talents to join the ranks of the agency. Last year, 7 talents signed a representation contract with Elite Paris. This season, INSTAX™, the brand of portable photo cameras and printers, is once again a partner of the competition and will provide each participant with a unique souvenir photo of this extraordinary moment thanks to the INSTAX MINI LINK 3™ printer! In the pure tradition of model castings, where instant photos serve to reveal the natural photogenic qualities of candidates, the ELITE teams will use the INSTAX WIDE EVO™ to capture and reshoot the shortlisted profiles. These wide and customizable shots will then accompany the final deliberations to support their choices.
