Set off for a fully immersive day on the Larzac plateau and its steppe landscapes, shaped by pastoralism and the many rocky chaos formations. We’ll discover the expertise of shepherds, cheesemakers, and master affineurs, all passionate and collectively committed to preserving a unique know-how used to make Roquefort, the king of cheeses. Before that, we’ll discover lac du Salagou, the red lake with a Colorado-like feel, then we’ll go for lunch in one of the most beautiful villages in France, in an authentic atmosphere. We offer departure from Montpellier in a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus, with a small group of up to 8 people. On the program: • 9:00 Departure from Montpellier • 10:00-11:30: Discovery walk at lac du Salagou • 12:00-14:30: Meal of local specialties and walk in la Couvertoirade • 15:30-16:30: Visit to the Roquefort caves and tasting • 17:00-18:00: Discovery of a sheep farm, meeting with the farmers and animals, observation of milking • 19:00/19:30: Arrival in Montpellier INFORMATION: Adult price: €115 - Child price €99 (ages 6-10) Minimum number of participants: 4 people.
