À propos

Two exceptional concerts will take place on July 1 and 3 at 9 p.m. at Eglise Ste Thérèse de Montpellier, bringing together talented artists, all volunteering for this one-off project: soloists from the Opéra or Êkhô choeur de chambre: Véronique Parize, soprano, Eun Young Jung, alto, Gabriel Rixte, tenor, and Xin Wang, bass. Instrumentalists: Sébastien Mazoyer, accordion, and Hyun Chan Kye, piano. Four choir conductors will share the conducting duties: Stefano Bernabovi, Franck Fontcouberte, Patrick Marco, and Caroline Semont-Gaulon. For the occasion, a choir of around one hundred singers, “Les 100 voix pour l’Europe,” has been formed in a spirit of unity, bringing together members of several choirs from the region. IMPORTANT: All proceeds will help fund the hosting of the Choeur Européen des Jeunes (European Youth Choir), 44 singers aged 18 to 30 from 18 different European countries, selected by audition and hosted in residence from August 9 to 21 at the Cité des Arts. The project to host the Choeur Européen des Jeunes is led by Ekhô Choeur de Chambre and Caroline Semont- Gaulon. Advance ticket price: 15 euros, students 5 euros Free for under-18s On site: 20 euros Reservation required
