The Nikon Film Festival is a competition for short films (2 minutes 20) and mini-series (6 x 2 minutes 20) with a set theme. After the results are announced, the films unfortunately have a very short life. The (unofficial) Nikon Film Festival Montpellier offers a chance to watch or rewatch this year's films shot in Montpellier or made by people from Montpellier, regardless of awards or ranking. This year, the theme was “Beauty”. The programmers have managed to bring together no fewer than 22 films and 1 series for around 1 hour of screening. It is organized around several subcategories: an ode to Montpellier, Art, the Body, Love and Humankind, as well as Motherhood and the Living World. Whether you are a team member, a friend or relative, a member of the public, or a professional, you are welcome: the guiding idea behind this event is connection. That is why we want to make this event accessible to everyone: admission is free, with pay-what-you-want pricing only if you wish to, and above all if you are able to, support the event financially. All proceeds will be set aside for the evening, to offer you the most exceptional experience possible. These funds may be used in particular to bring in a photographer, print posters and programs, and provide the post-screening aperitif.
