Compagnie Lode and Foyer de Vie Les Aramons invite you to discover “At the Height of the Storm, There Is Always a Bird,” a contemporary dance creation directed by Aude Courtiel. Presented as a residency showing at Studio La Bulle Bleue in Montpellier, this artistic work is the result of a project carried out with the residents of Foyer Les Aramons around universal themes such as freedom, encounter, difference, and living together. Birds, symbols of freedom and independence, are taken here on a quest for a gentler, more tolerant, less individualistic world. The question of connection, of flourishing with another person and being transformed by that encounter, is set against difference and solitude.
