A new educational approach is coming to Montpellier: Klesis Junior opens its first campus in Hérault On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, Klesis Junior will officially open its Montpellier campus, dedicated to developing the essential skills children and teenagers need to thrive. To mark the occasion, an Open House will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Montessori school of Montpellier, located at 33 avenue Lepic. On the program: - Understanding emotions, - Political culture, - Ecology through art, - Discovering the digital world, - Imagining yourself as an entrepreneur, - Playing with numbers, - Becoming a journalist for a few minutes 7 interactive discovery workshops. ### Preparing children for tomorrow’s world While school teaches essential academic knowledge, many key skills for the future are still rarely addressed: self-confidence, managing emotions, public speaking, oral communication, critical thinking, leadership, cooperation, and financial intelligence. Klesis Junior was created to meet this growing need. Through interactive workshops, real-life scenarios, debates, collaborative projects, and immersive experiences, children gradually develop the human skills that will help them know themselves better, better understand others, and find their place in society. ### A first location in Montpellier The Montpellier campus will welcome children and teenagers from September 2026 through two year-long programs. In total, 56 places will be offered per program to allow for personalized support and small, human-scale groups. During the Open House on July 8, children and teenagers will be able to take part in one or more discovery workshops and meet the teaching team. Families will also have the opportunity to discuss today’s educational challenges and see firsthand the teaching methods used on campus. ### A response to parents’ expectations At a time when parents are increasingly concerned about their children’s self-confidence, emotional management, independence, and ability to adapt, Klesis Junior offers an approach that complements school. The goal is not to replace school education, but to help young people develop the human skills that will support their personal, social, and professional growth.
