Embark on a day immersed in the Cévennes region, discovering its local products and expertise. If you’re looking for a truly local experience, this is for you. The Cévennes have retained a strong and distinctive identity, along with unique traditions. During this day trip, you’ll discover the secrets behind local products such as sweet onions, chestnuts, honey and pélardon cheese. You’ll have the opportunity to meet passionate producers who will share their expertise with you and invite you to taste their products. You can even return home with souvenirs (or gifts for your loved ones). We offer departure from Montpellier in a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus, with a small group of no more than 8 people. The itinerary varies depending on the season and producer availability: - 9am Departure from Montpellier - 10:30am-12:30pm: Discover the secrets behind Cévennes chestnuts or sweet onions - 12:30pm-2pm: Lunch featuring local specialties - 2:30pm-3:30pm: Visit to a producer’s workshop (honey or chestnuts) - 4pm-5:30pm: Discover a goat farm, meet the farmers and animals, watch the milking process and taste pélardon cheeses - 7pm: Arrival in Montpellier.
