To mark the European Heritage Days, the Archives départementales de l'Hérault present an advance screening of Memory of Light: Photography at the Archives de l'Hérault. This approximately ten-minute video invites the public to explore the history of photography through the rich collections held by the Archives. From the earliest photographic processes to contemporary uses, it highlights the evolution of the techniques, perspectives, and practices that have helped document the region and its residents. A captivating journey into the heart of an exceptional visual heritage. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Malvina Comte, who is responsible for collecting and cataloguing private photographic archives. Free admission Duration: 1 hour Open to all
