On September 19, Montpellier becomes a huge open-air art gallery. The Clap'Arts Festival 2.0 returns with a simple ambition: to bring art to life in the heart of the city and make it accessible to everyone. Inspired by the spirit of Alphonse Mucha, who revolutionized poster art by turning streets into true art galleries, Clap'Arts carries on that same idea: taking creativity beyond exhibition spaces and sharing it with as many people as possible. A whole day to wander, discover, create, listen, share… and above all, celebrate art in all its forms! 🎨 FROM 10 A.M. — FESTIVAL OPENING The exhibitors take their places, and Place Max Rouquette becomes a true artists' village. Painting, illustration, sculpture, creative works and street art: come meet the artists and discover their worlds. 🖌️ ALL DAY — LIVE STREET ART Four artists will create live before your eyes. Watch large-scale canvases come to life throughout the day through movement, color and improvisation. 👧 ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS Younger visitors will also have their own space to create, experiment and let their imaginations run free. 🎭 IMPROV THEATER Actors, ideas chosen at random and stories unfolding before your eyes… Nothing is scripted; anything can happen! 🎤 POETRY & PERFORMANCES Words, voices and distinctive creative worlds will punctuate the day with poetic and artistic performances. 🥁 MUSIC FROM NOON Music takes center stage at the festival, creating a warm, festive experience for everyone to share. 🎶 CONCERT — JULO & GUESTS Live music takes over the stage to round off the day and turn up the atmosphere! 🔨 LIVE ARTWORK AUCTIONED BY THE ARTISTS TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER The much-awaited moment: the five artworks created during the day will be offered for sale directly at the venue. Each artist sets their starting price, and 100% of the proceeds go to the artist. 🍻 BAR & FOOD AREA Because a festival is also about sharing a drink and a good meal: enjoy the welcoming space to have a drink, grab a bite and put the world to rights between artistic discoveries. 🌙 UNTIL 9:30 P.M. We'll end the day together with music, new encounters and the unique atmosphere that captures the spirit of CLAP’ARTS.
