A few days after a legendary, completely sold-out Paris concert at salle Pleyel, Mac DeMarco has announced a series of dates in France for September 2026! "Guitar" was written and recorded entirely in November 2024 at Mac's home in Los Angeles. With the exception of the mastering by David Ives, Mac handled every aspect of the record himself: from recording to mixing (done in Canada), as well as the music videos and cover artwork, which he shot independently using tripods. He says: "I think Guitar is the truest representation I’ve been able to make of where I am in my life today. I’m happy to share this music and excited to play these songs wherever I can."
