When urban hostility turns into a green island in the heart of the docks.A vegetable garden at the western tip of the Île de Nantes, redesigned by the architects of Atelier Vecteur, as an extension of La Cantine du Voyage. A wide variety of aromatic plants and surprising vegetables are grown there, with the aim of showcasing the flavorful diversity of the plant world.You can walk through it and sometimes even enter and talk with the resident market gardener to learn her tips and techniques. A surprising work by the artist Lilian Bourgeat marks the entrance to this vegetable garden and brings it a small touch of whimsy. - Free passage:from April 2 to July 3 & from September 9 to 13, 2026: Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.from July 4 to September 6, 2026: every day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. - Access to the plantings:from July 4 to September 6, 2026: every day from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. When urban hostility turns into a green island in the heart of the docks.
