As part of Le Voyage à Nantes An original sound walk to pave the way for the Cité des Imaginaires. This summer, writer Alain Damasio, a leading figure in science fiction, joins forces with Floriane Pochon, sound artist, to explore the Jardin Extraordinaire with both ears and feet. A strange, lush site where, for them, time grows more than it passes, in sheaves and buds, stirring together memories and futures, beer and stone, plants and flying flour, carrying us toward a future to be rewritten. As a prelude to its opening, planned for 2028/2029, the walk gives the Cité des Imaginaires its first turn of the spade in the fertile ground of an original program that bets on movement and the subtlety of sound to open portholes in our walls. Here voices rise, guides haunt, blocks store time. A first invitation to travel, 20,000 ponds beneath the place, and one that will take us around the day in 80 worlds! The spirit of the Cité is already taking shape here, a future Nantes site dedicated to the power of stories and worlds yet to be invented. A project developed in close collaboration with the teams of the Direction Nature et Jardins and Le Voyage à Nantes.
