A lecture by Edwige Chirouter, university professor and researcher in the philosophy of education at Nantes Université, holder of the UNESCO Chair on the Practice of Philosophy with Children: an educational foundation for intercultural dialogue and social transformation. It is never too early or too late to philosophize (Epicure). Drawing on more than fifteen years of research and experimentation conducted around the world as part of the UNESCO Chair on Philosophy with Children led by Nantes Université, Edwige Chirouter will use this lecture to show how the practice of philosophy, beginning as early as preschool, can help bring to life and uphold a humanist, democratic, and emancipatory political project.
