As part of the 250th anniversary of United States independence, the Ville de Nice invites you to celebrate the American National Day in the heart of the Promenade du Paillon. This program highlights shared history, culture, youth, art, innovation, and the unbreakable bonds of friendship between Nice and the United States. Open to the public with entertainers from 2:00 p.m. – free admission Program A joyful, festive musical and artistic program. Jazz trio concert from the Conservatoire – 2:15 p.m. Come discover a jazz trio made up of three advanced students from the jazz class at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Nice. For 45 minutes, Tristan Versace (soprano saxophone, trumpet), Hugo Mezzasalma (organ), and Sohel Perez (drums) will take you on a journey through the finest jazz standards. Echoing this American-themed day, the repertoire will spotlight major classics born across the Atlantic — from Duke Ellington to George Gershwin, along with must-hear pieces from the Great American Songbook that shaped jazz history. An original ensemble, driven by the energy and chemistry of three young musicians trained at one of the region’s leading music schools, for a friendly, festive musical moment in the spirit of July 4.
