Blending heritage, history, and digital innovation, a heritage exhibition invites you to explore Nice’s golden ages and bring the legendary Casino de la Jetée-Promenade back to life through an immersive augmented reality experience. Opening reception on Friday, July 10 at 4:30 p.m. This summer, NICETOILE invites visitors on a journey through time into the heart of Nice’s soul with Nissa la bella, a summer program celebrating the history, heritage, and art of living of Nice. With Nissa la bella, the NICETOILE shopping center is transformed into a space dedicated to discovering the history, heritage, and art of living that shaped the legend of Nice. At the heart of the program is a heritage exhibition enriched by documentary and scientific contributions from the Centre du Patrimoine, the Villa Masséna – Musée d’Art et d’Histoire, and the Centre Nice Patrimoine Mondial. Through this exhibition, visitors journey back through the Riviera’s golden ages. Photographs, illustrations, archives, and period objects evoke a city in constant transformation that has become one of Europe’s most sought-after destinations over the decades. The exhibition highlights some of the iconic places that have shaped its history and development, from the promenade des Anglais and the grand hotels of the Belle Époque to the legendary casino de la Jetée-Promenade. The augmented reality experience of the lost Casino de la Jetée Promenade The highlight of the visit is a spectacular immersion in this vanished landmark. Through an augmented reality experience created by HoloForge Interactive, visitors can rediscover the splendor and elegance of this iconic palace overlooking the Mediterranean. The augmented reality experience of the lost Casino de la Jetée Promenade will be available from Saturday, July 11 to Sunday, August 9, from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Throughout the summer, Nissa la bella continues with a program of activities and workshops inspired by the history of Nice. Creativity, discovery, sharing, and togetherness will set the pace for a summer season devoted to curiosity and escape. Please note: The augmented reality experience of the lost Casino de la Jetée Promenade will be available at the Centre du Patrimoine starting in October 2026.
