A unique encounter with Roger Gerards from VLISCO. To mark the Africa Pop exhibition, the Anatole Jakovsky International Museum of Naive Art welcomes Roger Gerards, a prominent figure in the creation of VLISCO wax-print designs, the benchmark for excellence in African markets. He will introduce iconic designs and the collection development process through a selection of fabrics to see and touch. From celebrating a century-old heritage to contemporary graphic expressions, come and hear the secrets told by these designs, filled with History and stories. This informal talk is open to French- and English-speaking audiences. The event is organized in partnership with the museum's friends association and with the support of VLISCO.
