From June 6 to 14, 2026, the 5th edition of the Festival du mieux manger will take place, Paris’s festive, family-friendly event dedicated to sustainable food and agriculture.
Paris is committed to an ecological transition in agriculture and food, in connection with the Plan alimentation durable, and to making sustainable, local, high-quality food accessible to everyone. The Festival du mieux manger is an opportunity for Parisians to meet and talk with the people changing the Parisian food system and feeding the capital, to learn more about what is on our plates, and to discover how to eat better in Paris… while tasting food and having fun! During this week, from Saturday, June 6 to Sunday, June 14, gourmet activities, tastings of local products, playful workshops, meetings with professionals and institutions, and talks will be organized, all free and open to everyone. Dedicated activities and menus will be offered in Paris municipal cafeterias for pupils and diners in cafeterias and professional restaurants managed by the City. The Trophées de la Restauration Collective Durable will also be held, along with the Top Recette challenge, where staff from Paris school and nursery cafeterias present recipes made with tasty, sustainable, local, seasonal products before a jury. Not to be missed: Workshops and tastings at the village located at place des Fêtes (19th arr.) OPENING DAY OF THE FESTIVAL (Saturday, June 6, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.) Come wander among the stands: taste local products, pedal to enjoy a smoothie, repot plants, learn everything about composting, and find out about existing solidarity-based organizations and municipal programs. Detailed program. Fun and educational activities at the Ferme de Paris (bois de Vincennes - 12th arr.) AN AFTERNOON AT THE FERME DE PARIS (Wednesday, June 10, from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.) Many workshops will offer the chance to discover new legumes, learn about seasonal fruits and vegetables, and help feed farm animals such as pigs or sheep.
