Today is a big day: the baby turtles are going to follow their mother to the sea. Poucette wakes up after her first night in the land of flowers. She sets off in search of the turtles on this musical island, inhabited by strange and wonderful insects. Freely inspired by Andersen’s tale of Poucette, The Land of Flowers is a show performed and sung with live instruments by actress and musician Florence Deplanque. This colorful and poetic world will awaken the senses of children and adults alike. This show is presented as part of the Paris children’s performing arts festival “L’été des p’tits futés,” organized by the Théâtre Darius Milhaud, located near the parcs de la Villette and des Buttes Chaumont.
