Montmartre, a little village within the city, reveals its most intimate secrets through its history. We will start at the foot of the hill, where we will relive the wild nights once offered by the cabarets.
Of course, we will stop at the Moulin Rouge, temple of the French cancan and a true symbol of nightlife, still today. We will gradually make our way up the cobbled lanes to discover, among other things, a café made famous by cinema, stroll along rue des Abbesses to an artists’ community, take a rustic detour through the vineyards, and reach the summit: the Sacré Cœur, a fascinating basilica overlooking Paris and offering us a memorable panorama. Naturally, we will talk about the artists who made their homes there from the 19th century onward: Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec, Degas and his dancer models… An atmospheric journey into Montmartre’s bohemian life.
