Every summer, l’Été du Canal transforms the canals and banks of northeastern Paris into a vast space for discoveries and activities. From June 27 to August 9, 2026, the festival returns with a festive program open to everyone. Among the must-do activities of this 19th edition: themed cruises, back all summer from July 4 on the Paris canals.
Throughout the summer, visitors can board guided, festive, or gourmet crossings to discover urban landscapes, cultural venues, and the area’s transformations. Program of cruises organized for this 2026 edition The heritage cruises For anyone who wants to better understand the history of the canals and the area, the heritage cruises offer guided visits led by passionate guides. It is a chance to discover the evolution of the neighborhoods, former industrial wastelands, and new cultural venues set up along the banks. Monumental murals, artistic performances, and guided interpretation of the works set the rhythm for these narrated trips on the water. These crossings look back at the area’s transformations and the legacy left by this international event. Among the expected highlights: the BLACKPEARL evenings, with three hours of funk, hip-hop, soul, and R&B on the canal de l’Ourcq. These guided crossings take you to La Villette’s open-air cinema while offering a different way to discover the canals.
