A new community DIY bicycle repair workshop in the 10th arrondissement, open to everyone.
✨Paillettes & Cambouis✨ is a collective, community-minded project centered on reuse, mutual support, promoting cycling, and helping everyone become self-reliant through bike mechanics. But it’s also an ideas lab, a community hub, and a place for sharing, celebrating, and learning! 🚲 Whether you’ve spent hundreds of hours tinkering with the most sophisticated bike systems or don’t know how to use a pump, whether you’re a neighborhood hipster or completely broke, whatever your age, gender identity, or cycling habits, come meet us and join in! 👯 Here, everyone can volunteer and/or get help based on what they want to do and feel capable of doing, as well as their learning goals: with mutual support and kindness, we always find a way :) If your bike is making a slightly annoying noise or a seriously worrying one, if you’re preparing for a trip, or if you simply love your bicycle so much that you want to take care of it, don’t hesitate—come along. 📌 Membership is available on-site on a pay-what-you-can basis, depending on your means (no proof required) and how much you want to support the space: €15 solidarity rate, €30 rate covering the association’s costs, or €45 and up, up, up to help keep the association open to as many people as possible. For now, the space has limited or no accessibility for people with physical disabilities. Please note that the workshop is closed on public holidays.
