À propos

Organized by Le Monde, Le Nouvel Obs and Télérama, the MOT pour Mots festival offers a chance to celebrate the importance of words through a rich program of talks, readings, round tables and other festivities.

For this major free event open to everyone, the three editorial teams are joining forces to celebrate books in all their forms: authors and critics, novelists and essayists will all come together to share their passion for words and text with you. While literature remains the backbone of the festival, you will also find women and men authors who have explored other paths, such as translation, podcasts, or graphic novels. It is a way of saying that literature attracts, inspires, and brings together talents and sources of inspiration. Dedicated to literature, encounters, and dialogue, the festival brings together more than fifty women and men authors selected by the three editorial teams. For this 6th edition, it is sponsored by author and director Riad Sattouf. Among the guests: Agathe Charnet, Cécile Coulon, Benjamin Dierstein, Florence Dupré la Tour, Jérôme Ferrari, Alain Finkielkraut, Samuel Gallet, Paul Gasnier, Judith Godrèche, Théo Grosjean, Philippe Jaenada, Chowra Makameri, Victor Malzac, Ovidie, Daniel Pennac, Ryōko Sekiguchi, Chantal Thomas, Émilie Tronche, Laura Vazquez, Éric Vuillard, Vanessa Wagner, Rebeka Warrior…
