Juliette Béquette and Jane Bond discover that falling is far less serious than they were led to believe! A clownish, poetic duo for the whole family, ages 4 and up.
Juliette Béquette and Jane Bond have a hard time keeping their balance on this earth, where they are expected to stand tall, straight, and proud; nevertheless, they rise to the challenge life gives them. But just as they think they have finally cleared away everything that makes them stumble, the unexpected appears again and... Boom! Every fall offers just as many chances to get back up, only to fall and fall again! They then discover that falling is far less serious than they were led to believe! Imbalance and falling become the most powerful driving force for the two clowns, who never give up! They challenge each other, seek each other out, and support each other. Spectacular clown entrances, play with objects that slip from their hands, danced imbalances, songs... the show is paced by a musician who shapes the action and the falls as the performance unfolds. These are playful moments outside of time, instants of laughter and clownish poetry, in a world that needs them so much. This show is presented as part of the Paris children’s performing arts festival “L’été des p’tits futés,” organized by the Théâtre Darius Milhaud, located near the parcs de la Villette and des Buttes-Chaumont.
