The farm invites you to meet educators to learn about the needs of farm animals and help look after their well-being. You can also take part in workshops on this theme on weekdays throughout the summer. A great way to introduce children and adults alike to urban agriculture.

The fun workshops (drop-in and ongoing) “Cafeteria Challenges”: Come discover seasonal fruits and vegetables in a playful way. Test your knowledge of summer fruits and vegetables. July 7 and 9 and August 4 and 6 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. “What do you eat, my hen?”: We invite you to sow seeds intended as chicken feed and take them home so you can care for them. Which seeds can be sown this season, and what do they provide for this farm animal? July 16 and August 11 and 13 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. “Where does wool come from?”: You can spin your own wool thread from the farm’s ewes, sheared in the spring. Why do ewes need to be sheared? July 21 and 23 and August 18 and 20 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. “Who eats what?” Do you know what makes up the diet of each animal species at the urban educational farm? We invite you to discover all the ingredients of a balanced diet for farm animals. July 28 and 30 and August 25 and 27 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
