For its 93rd edition, the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre celebrates music, a universal language that brings people together, moves them and creates connections. In the 18th arrondissement, it is everywhere: in the bustling streets, concert venues, cafés, marching bands, choirs, creative studios and neighborhood celebrations. Here, music tells stories, accompanies encounters and sets the rhythm of community life.
A land of inspiration and cultural fusion, the 18th has always nurtured an exceptionally rich cultural heritage. From the artists of yesterday to the talents of today, from popular music to the most contemporary creations, the sounds and voices resonating throughout the arrondissement reflect its creative energy and diversity. In 2026, the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre celebrates music that crosses generations, cultures and borders. Whether sung, played, danced to or simply shared, it brings residents, visitors, curious minds and enthusiasts together through a common emotion. For five days, a rich and eclectic program of cultural, artistic, culinary and festive events will unfold throughout the arrondissement. Concerts, performances, encounters, activities and discoveries will invite everyone to follow the tempo of a neighborhood in motion, where creativity is shared and togetherness is celebrated. Welcome to the 2026 edition, where the spirit of the 18th is celebrated with enthusiasm! The full program is available here! Highlights Vineyard tours Discover the vineyards of Montmartre on a tour with Jean-Manuel Gabert, a historian and lecturer specializing in the history of winemaking. Jean-Manuel Gabert is a well-known Montmartre figure, respected for his warmth and extensive knowledge. He is committed to preserving the identity of the Butte, “The Last Village in Paris,” of which he is one of the foremost experts. A writer and art critic, he has authored three richly illustrated books: « Roland Dorgelès, prince de bohème », «Fantômas : Le magicien du crime», « Dalida, le profil perdu» , published by “Belle Gabrielle.” A journalist, he is editor-in-chief of Paris Montmartre magazine. He is also an official cultural guide for the Office de Tourisme de Paris, leading tours of Montmartre, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Syndicat d’Initiative de Montmartre. The night race: the 18th hits its stride When night falls, the 18th switches to allegro mode! Join the Vendanges night race and cover 5 km through the streets of the arrondissement at your own pace. With bursts of speed, quieter stretches and rising intensity, everyone can compose their own score, whether an experienced runner or an occasional athlete. In this music-themed edition, footsteps take the place of notes and the pavement becomes a track where the whole 18th keeps the beat. This friendly race is free and open to everyone, bringing the neighborhood together in one vibrant surge. The dress code: neon! Come light up the night during this festive and joyful race! The non-marriage proposal ceremony At the Fête des Vendanges, love is celebrated with humor and lightheartedness during the traditional ceremony for unmarried couples. Under the benevolent authority of Éric Lejoindre, mayor of the 18th arrondissement, the day’s unmarried couples take turns participating in a ceremony that is as wacky as it is romantic. Against a delightfully kitschy backdrop, couples exchange fleeting promises and pretend not to put a ring on each other’s finger. And because such an event deserves a suitably spectacular makeover, the « Mystérieuses Coiffures » create astonishing hairstyles for the forever-engaged couples, transforming this imaginary wedding into a true performance and each participant into a fleeting work of art. The culinary trail When the 18th sets the rhythm, flavors take center stage. At the foot of the Sacré-Cœur, the famous Parcours du Goût returns to make Montmartre pulse to the tempo of local produce, craftsmanship and culinary encounters. This year, producers, winegrowers and artisans from across France will compose a grand symphony of flavors to enjoy on-site, featuring regional specialties, local discoveries and inspiration from farther afield. In a warm and festive atmosphere, every stand contributes its own note, accent and color. Food lovers of all ages come together to stroll, chat, taste and share this unmissable highlight of the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre. This edition also shines a spotlight on young talent and local initiatives that keep the heart of the 18th beating, blending living traditions with fresh inspiration. Eco-conscious partners will also be present to help reduce waste and promote a more circular, local and committed approach. The closing dance As every year, the Fête des Vendanges comes to a musical close with a festive DJ set that brings everyone together. Young and old are invited to gather at square Louise Michel, transformed into a giant dance floor where the whole 18th moves to the same beat. From timeless favorites that get every generation singing to surprising musical discoveries, the selection promises to have residents and visitors dancing in a joyful, friendly atmosphere. Let the energy of the celebration carry you away and enjoy this warm evening together until nightfall. The Fête des Vendanges is also an opportunity to applaud musical and visual arts performances, take themed walks and join a huge children’s dance party… Discover the full program now
