La Fabrique de la Solidarité is hosting the exhibition « Ce qu'il reste au fond de moi » by Karen Assayag in spring 2026.
« Ce qu'il reste au fond de moi » is a photography exhibition by Karen Assayag, stemming from a project conducted with women facing severe precariousness and supported by the association Le Filon. Through workshops combining photography, writing, and collective creation, the artist worked with about fifteen women to help them cast a different light on their daily lives and life journeys. The exhibition brings together portraits, images taken by the participants themselves, and fragments of narratives, revealing trajectories marked by violence, exile, or exclusion, but also by resilience, dignity, and hope. Moving away from pitying representations, this work highlights the inner resources of these women and invites the public to change their perspective on severe precariousness. Winner of the 2022 Caritas Prize for Social Photography, the series has been presented in various venues and festivals across France. Karen Assayag Association Le Filon
