La Grande Masse des Beaux-Arts is organizing an introductory screen-printing workshop. Whether you’re already familiar with this technique, know a little about it, or not at all, you’re welcome!
During the workshop, you’ll discover screen printing by printing your own design on paper. To do this, we’ll go over all the essential steps of screen printing, from preparing the screen to printing. Bring your visual! It can be a drawing, a graphic design, a photo, text — let your imagination run free! For this introduction, your design must be printable in a single color. You’ll leave with around ten paper prints. During the workshop, to make sure your introduction goes as smoothly as possible, here are a few tips to follow at the workshop. - Avoid loose or easily soiled clothing, or anything you would be worried about staining. - Respect the space and equipment; you’ll be taking part in a shared workshop in a shared venue. - Finally, if you’d like, feel free to bring something to share for a snack.
