Mediterranean dance has been experiencing a remarkable revival for several years, with movements that blend traditional dances with contemporary aesthetics from the hip-hop scene and more conceptual or experimental forms of expression. This Chaillot Expérience, created with Syhem Belkhodja, an iconic figure in Tunisia’s choreographic and cultural scene, presents part of the younger generation of choreographers and dancers from the Maghreb in dialogue with other arts such as music, visual arts, and cinema. Designed as an intercultural event, several offerings will build bridges between the two shores of the Mediterranean in a festive and fiery atmosphere.
