Jeff Vinolo humbly follows in the footsteps of his illustrious predecessors, Nougaro, Legrand, Salvador… A lover of the French language, beautiful harmonies, and jazz melodies, he and his close friend François Méchali, an outstanding jazz double bassist, offer compositions that reflect the stained glass of life. An unapologetic celebration of French chanson, blending delicate poetry with melodies influenced by jazz and classical music. They are joined by Mathieu Bélis, a pianist who studied at the Bill Evans Academy and founded the Yeliz Trio. With a lilting atmosphere and soaring, elegiac flourishes, he brings the Trio’s compositions to life.
