Designed as a moment of pause at porte d'Aubervilliers, La Parcelle includes a play area, a greenhouse, a flower farm, and an educational vegetable garden. A small hall, la Cabane, also hosts la Maison des Petits du CENTQUATRE-PARIS, a free parent/child welcome program that supports early childhood development on Saturdays and Sundays. Many activities for discovering the living world, connected with fine crafts, are offered to nearby schools and community organizations during the week and to visitors on weekends. La Parcelle is open every weekend from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Coming soon to La Parcelle “Kisetsu” workshop; Credits: © le19M - Nicolas Melemis “Tataki zomé” creation workshop; Credits: © le19M - Nicolas Melemis “Kokedama” making workshop; Credits: © le19M - Nicolas Melemis For the 2026 Season, the association Vergers Urbains is offering a series of creative and educational workshops at La Parcelle focused on the living world, designed for families with children aged 5 and up. Until the end of April, the workshop program takes on Japanese influences, echoing the free exhibition Beyond our Horizons : de Tokyo à Paris presented at la Galerie du 19M. Parents and children are invited to explore this world through three workshops inspired by Japanese know-how: kokedama, tataki zomé, and kisetsu. Every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (free with reservation). The vegetable garden and greenhouse produce vegetables, fruit, and aromatic herbs. The flower farm is a place for wandering as well as a source of inspiration. Conceived as a small garden to visit, La Parcelle can be explored freely or through a playful route. Along the walk, a treasure hunt and educational signage invite children and adults to observe the living world, understand it better, and learn while having fun. Finally, the play area is accessible during La Parcelle’s opening hours.
