Thierry Fanfant gets you moving with his album 6.4 and his band on stage, for a concert where every note tells a story and grabs you from the very first second.
Thierry Fanfant has music in his blood. Born into a family of musicians going back several generations, he picked up a bass at age 12, taught himself to play on stage... and has never stopped since. Tours to every corner of the world, thousands of albums recorded, and always that same generous groove that drives him. With his fifth album 6.4, Thierry takes us straight back to his roots. Blending Caribbean rhythms, travels, encounters, and life experiences, he creates music full of depth, energy, and hope. And the nod is clear: he alternates between 6-string guitar, bass, and 4-string double bass to tell his story. On stage, he is not alone: Daniel Gassin makes the piano sing, Robert Coline sets the ka ablaze, and Andy Bérald drives it all forward on drums and ka. Philippe Sellam on sax and Arno de Casanove on trumpet add brilliant colors. Together, they deliver a powerful, warm sound that grabs the audience from the first note and never lets go.
