À propos

Tenkoku, an art derived from calligraphy, is practiced on a tiny surface. But within those few square centimeters, an entire universe unfolds.

During this workshop, you will engrave your first name or your favorite word in Japanese onto stone, in the tensho style (characteristic of seals) or in the kana syllabary. You will be able to use this one-of-a-kind seal to sign your letters, drawings, and more. You will also make a hakama, a cap to protect the seal, using Japanese fabrics. Instructor: Miki Umeda-Kubo

Price: 45 € (materials included)
