À propos

Performance by Muchmuche Company, as part of the Et 20 l'Été festival

A character appears, buried under 35 kilos of steel. Armor too heavy, too noisy, too alive to be just a costume. Every step raises a question, every movement renegotiates a peace treaty between body and metal. Between circus and dance, he tries to tame this unpredictable mass, which sometimes helps him and sometimes challenges him. Then, one by one, the pieces come loose. The weight lessens, the space opens up, and each piece finds a second life. Object, tool, counterweight, material to manipulate or juggle: the metal reinvents itself at the same pace as the body freeing itself from it. Miror explores the moment when shedding weight does not mean giving up, but transforming. A danced and circus-inspired journey where we discover that removing weight can sometimes open up an entire world... and that the objects we thought were heavy can surprise us too. Writer-performer: Paul Cretin-Sombardier Dramaturg: Stéphanie Ruffier Outside eye for circus technique: Valentina Santori Outside eye: Mathilde Roy Performance for all audiences ages 6 and up.
