A sensory map is an alternative to traditional mapping. It represents emotions and impressions using the classic principles of a map. No need to worry: whatever your artistic level, anyone can create a sensory map, especially because the lines used can be very simple or highly schematic. So, on June 20 with Wandrille, a comic book author, we’re bringing together all talents and all willing participants to create our sensory map of the neighborhood and make Hélène Berr the most stylish media library of the summer. Saturday, June 20, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Open to all - Free entry About the artist Wandrille Leroy, better known by his pseudonym Wandrille, is a publisher, author, and comics teacher. After graduating from the École des arts décoratifs de Paris, he founded Warum in 2004 with Benoît Preteseille. In 2007, he self-published La Psychanalyse des super-héros and continued the concept through Vraoum, the publishing house he created the following year. In late 2010, he became a writer for the online comics soap opera Les Autres Gens, created by Thomas Cadène, and contributed to it regularly until it ended in mid-2012. He then handled the graphic design for its print edition at Dupuis. In 2014, he published the comic book Premières Vendanges with Delcourt, with artwork by Anne-Lise Nalin. In January 2016, he received, on behalf of Warum, a Heritage category prize at the Festival d'Angoulême for Vater und sohn : Père et Fils, l'intégrale d’E.O. Plauen. In 2021, he became a collection editor at Delcourt. He joined the Villa Mais d'Ici, an artistic brownfield site in Aubervilliers. In 2022, he drew and published a map of his neighborhood, which he successfully marketed, then decided in 2025 to create Ici sont les dragons, a publishing house devoted exclusively to artistic maps and plans. That same year, he developed Aux Confins within the Steinkis group, a label dedicated to foreign fiction. Since 2018, he has taught comics, notably at the Académie Delcourt, an experience that inspired his series Mes Génies, prepublished on Instagram before being released in 2020 by La Cafetière (2 volumes published).
