Born in New York in 2011, Walking Towards The Unknown is an invitation to move forward without quite knowing where you’re going... and to enjoy it. Led by drummer Thomas Galliano, the project leaves room, a lot of room: to improvise, to try, sometimes to fail, and above all to find something true together. Its music moves freely, fed by blended influences, rhythmic cross-pollination, and an unabashed taste for motion and surprise. On stage, nothing is fixed: the musicians listen, bounce off one another, set off somewhere else without warning, with Jorge Vistel on trumpet, Pierre de Bethmann on piano, Thomas Bramerie on double bass, and Galliano on drums. A living, curious journey, always in the making.
