À propos

A creation by théâtre IVT in which difference(s) are told with humor, poetry, and sensitivity in French Sign Language and spoken French. Nursery rhymes and short stories for children aged two and up, performed by two actors.

"Les Contes du Nouveau Monde tells stories about difference to children. Difference can be defined in many ways: by a physical difference, visible or invisible, linguistic difference, in one's choice to love in one's own way, in one's life choices... All these differences make life and its evolution richer. Having two dads, not having the same skin color, having a disability or a different language, having different origins or simply being a boy or a girl unlike the reference parent, all these differences lead to reflection on one's life path and to wonderful stories to tell children."
