The “Formes ouvertes” exhibition, which pays tribute to abstract artistic expression, is a space for exploration for little ones with wide-open eyes on the world. In partnership with Paris Mômes, we offer guided tours for children accompanied by their grown-up(s).
Les Petites Visites de Paris Mômes are family-friendly events where children and adults discover exhibitions together, taking the time to observe, ask questions, and share ideas. Led by guide-lecturer Daria Moreno Davis, they offer children accessible ways to understand the works, through a participatory approach where questions and discussion are central. At the Institut suédois, Les Petites Visites invite visitors to explore the “Formes ouvertes” exhibition in a hybrid format, somewhere between a tour and a workshop. Mediation tools are placed throughout the route to encourage an active approach to the artworks and help children make them their own. After the visit, it is possible, and even recommended, to linger in the garden, which hides sculptures among the thickets, go back to see your favorite work in the exhibition, or head upstairs to discover 18th-century paintings. It is also highly recommended to enjoy a Swedish snack at café FIKA, which serves cinnamon buns, chocolate cakes, and other treats that can be enjoyed on the terrace amid the scent of jasmine. Practical information - For children aged 6 to 10, accompanied by an adult - Free with registration
