This summer, come enjoy readings, workshops, and games by the water with the libraries of the 19th arrondissement.
The libraries of the 19th arrondissement are stepping outside their walls and inviting you to meet by Bassin de la Villette for a moment of relaxation, discovery, and shared enjoyment. From July 4 to August 22, Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., a welcoming space awaits you to read, create, play… or simply enjoy summer by the water. Settle in comfortably under a parasol or in the shade of the trees and dive into a selection of books for all ages: children’s picture books, comics, novels, nonfiction… Plenty to satisfy curious readers, little explorers, and big dreamers alike. But BHLM is not just about reading. Librarians will also offer creative workshops to let your imagination run free, as well as board games for sharing a playful moment. Whether you come with family, friends, or on your own, it is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a simple, joyful moment in a relaxed summer atmosphere.
