The idea behind this workshop for everyone is to learn perspective in order to use its specific elements for drawing objects, settings, and vehicles.
Perspective is one of the fundamental foundations of drawing: it makes it possible to design objects, buildings, and characters in volume, develop your graphic vocabulary, and explore many possibilities related to creating an image. - The basics of perspective: the horizon line, the main vanishing point, distance points, the picture plane, the ground line, the field of vision… - The bridge in perspective. - Frontal, oblique, and aerial perspective. - Inclined planes. - Stairs: with 1 or 2 slopes. - Reflections: in a mirror and in water. - The vanishing point outside the picture plane. - The perspective of shadows in natural and artificial light. - The boat in perspective. - Frontal and oblique perspective grids needed to set up a setting. - Work on a setting. The course is followed by exercises that allow you to apply the theory. This workshop will take place at the musée du Louvre.
