For Nuit Blanche 2026, dedicated to the theme of love, the art center la Galerie Édouard-Manet has chosen to explore this subject through a multidisciplinary artistic program. Artist L. Camus-Govoroff, whose exhibition Le bruit des larmes will celebrate its closing on the evening of Nuit Blanche, presents a project titled Flames To Dust, centered on relationships of tenderness, by inviting artists who are dear to them — through their practices, their bonds of friendship, and the sensations and emotions their works evoke. Love, considered here as a many-sided feeling, takes on multiple forms: romantic, platonic, filial. Both intimate and universal, it remains deeply singular while also being shaped by the collective. From this plurality, an event in three acts has been conceived, bringing together reading, performance, and music. The first act is a performance by Roméo Dini, a French contemporary artist born in 1998 in Marseille, living between Paris and Marseille. A graduate of the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris (2021), he develops a practice that combines installations, performances, and images. His work explores romantic relationships in the age of virtual spaces, digital cultures, and the memory of images from the Internet, drawing on humor, melancholy, and references to geek culture. The second act takes the form of a reading-workshop led by Morgane Ortin. A French writer, editor, and poet, she is especially known for founding Amours solitaires, a participatory archive of intimate messages shared on Instagram. Her work explores contemporary epistolary writing, romantic feeling, and forms of intimacy, with particular attention to the transmission and democratization of therapeutic and poetic writing. Finally, the third act unfolds as a concert by Mélodie Blaison. A French artist, flutist, and composer born in 1992 in Avignon and based in Bruxelles, she brings together experimental music, immersive installations, and modular sculptures. Trained at the Conservatoire and a graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Nantes, she composes sensitive soundscapes blending field recordings, flutes, ceramics, and electroacoustic textures, inviting a sensory and contemplative experience
