Born into a non-practicing Jewish family, Colette Brull‑Ulmann (1920‑2021) became involved in the Résistance at a very young age. A medical intern at Rothschild Hospital during the Occupation, she helped rescue Jewish children by organizing their clandestine escape and thwarting arrests. After the war, she pursued a career as a pediatrician in Seine-Saint-Denis, staying true to her values of commitment and solidarity. This show pays tribute to her exceptional journey by retracing her courage and the acts of resistance that helped save lives, exploring the place of the individual in the face of History. Suitable for ages 9 and up, the show offers a sensitive and age-appropriate way to pass on this memory to younger audiences and adults alike. In the presence of Jean‑Christophe Portes, co-author with Colette Brull‑Ulmann of Les Enfants du dernier salut, who will speak with the audience after the performance.
