Discover the new exhibition La fin de la Shoah. Survivre, témoigner, juger at the Mémorial de la Shoah de Drancy.
This exhibition explores the discovery of the camps by the Allied armies (American, British, French, and Soviet), the repatriation of deportees and attempts at rebuilding their lives, as well as the gradual awareness of the reality of the Nazi concentration camp system and the need to bring the perpetrators of these crimes to justice. The exhibition also highlights survivors’ testimonies and life journeys. It is illustrated with excerpts from personal diaries, archival documents and images, maps, and glossaries. It is therefore a valuable resource for shedding light on the theme of the Concours National de la Résistance et de la Déportation 2025-2026. Exhibition presented in the form of kakemonos. Book
